Cloud.in is the first partner in India to operate a customer's production quantum (QPU) workloads on Amazon Braket — running live across a national research organisation since March 2026. Quantum is where the next decade is being decided, and we're already in the arena, not on the sidelines.
The milestone
We took a national research organisation from quantum fundamentals to live QPU execution on Amazon Braket, and we operate the whole thing end to end: access, execution, billing, monitoring and support. Not a lab experiment — production workloads, on real quantum hardware.

What we built
Operating quantum in production takes more than access to a QPU. We engineered the governance, billing and monitoring layer that turns raw platform usage into something a research programme can budget, track and trust — the same operational discipline behind our FinOps practice, applied to quantum.
Amazon Braket meters in tasks and shots; research teams budget in time. We convert native usage into minute- and second-level consumption that maps to how teams actually plan — attributable per centre.
Engineered on an EventBridge → Lambda → DynamoDB → CloudWatch pipeline: live usage and billing, filterable by user, centre, region and device — visibility Braket doesn't surface on its own.
Automated monthly PDF consumption reports, broken down per research centre, with IAM activity mapped to the owning team — built for governance and budgeting.
How we operate it
QPU time is scarce and expensive. We run a managed operating model designed to protect every minute of it.
Efficient consumption
Premium QPU time is reserved for circuits that have already been proven — protecting spend and lifting the quality of every hardware run.
Confirm circuit logic and noise behaviour on SV1 / DM1 / TN1 at low cost.
